Danny Caldecott’s football career has been marked by significant achievements. He began as a player and showcased his skills at clubs like Ashton United, Hyde F.C., Stalybridge Celtic, and later Trafford FC.
Transitioning into management, he initially served as an assistant manager at Trafford FC during the 2017/2018 season under Tom Baker. When Baker left, Danny assumed the role of manager in 2020.
Under his leadership, Trafford FC became a formidable team in the NPL, gaining recognition from Clitheroe fans. Despite limited resources, Danny’s managerial skills ensured the team’s strong performance. His ambition, determination, and professionalism impressed Clitheroe FC directors and Chairman David Frost.
