SMH Group Stadium is a sports stadium in Chesterfield, Derbyshire and the home ground of Chesterfield Football Club.
The stadium has a maximum capacity of 10,600 spectators.
The SMH Group Stadium, with a capacity of 10,000 all-seater, opened in July 2010 and features three stands for home fans: the Motan Colortronic (South) Stand, known for its lively atmosphere but less suitable for young children; the Van Yard (West) Stand, which includes the directors’ box and corporate seats; and the Karen Child Community (East) Stand. The Harold Lilleker & Sons (North) Stand is designated for away supporters. Family-friendly areas with reduced prices are available in the Karen Child Community and Van Yard stands.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available online or at the ticket office (open Monday to Friday and on matchdays from 9am until kick-off). Separate ticket offices are available for home and away fans.
Additional facilities include the Club Superstore, selling merchandise, and concourses in each stand offering snacks and drinks, with TVs showing sports channels. The HUB, behind the East Stand, features a café and a children’s play area, Chester’s Den. The club mascot, Chester the Field Mouse, is often present on matchdays.
