Biography

Andy Woodman, with a substantial coaching background primarily in the Premier League, began his career as a player at clubs including Crystal Palace and Brentford. Transitioning to coaching in 2006, he started as assistant manager at Rushden & Diamonds in the Football League.

A significant chapter in Woodman’s coaching career was his collaboration with Alan Pardew, starting as a goalkeeping coach at West Ham United, then moving to Charlton Athletic, and later to Newcastle United for five years. This partnership continued at Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

In 2018, Woodman furthered his coaching journey as Head of Goalkeeping at Arsenal, where he worked with top-tier goalkeepers. He later joined Hayes Lane, leveraging his extensive experience to lead the team to FA Trophy triumph in 2022, a notable highlight of his career.
