Danny Holmes has been appointed as the First Team Manager of Vauxhall Motors Football Club, stepping into the role with extensive experience in both playing and coaching. Born in 1989 in Birkenhead, Holmes started his football career at Tranmere Rovers Academy, turning professional with the club in 2007. His playing career includes time with Southport, The New Saints, Newport County, AFC Fylde, York City, Bangor City, and Connah’s Quay Nomads, notably returning to Tranmere Rovers for four years and contributing four goals in 133 appearances.
Holmes is also the founder of Elite Player Development in Woodchurch, Wirral, demonstrating his commitment to nurturing young football talent.
