Hawthorns — also known as FND & KMCO Community Stadium for sponsorship purposes — is a sports stadium in Colchester, Essex and the home ground of Stanway Rovers Football Club.
The stadium can be reached by car from Junction 26 of the A12, following Essex Yeomanry Way and London Road before turning via Villa Road, Chapel Road and New Farm Road. The ground is situated around 500 yards along on the left-hand side, and visitors can make use of the free car parking provided. For those travelling by public transport, Colchester North Station is the nearest rail link, while bus routes X2, 65, 70 and 71 serve the surrounding area.
Supporter facilities include the Perrins Butchers Burger & Snack Bar, which operates at every home fixture and is located pitchside. It offers a variety of food and drink options, including burgers, sausage rolls, samosas, snacks, and hot and cold beverages, with its produce receiving strong positive feedback from visiting supporters. The clubhouse, known as The Hawthorn Bar, is also open on matchdays, serving drinks and showing live Premier League games on screens and a large projector. The bar also features a pool table and darts board for supporters to enjoy before and after matches.
Admission for first team fixtures is £10 for adults, £5 for concessions, with under-16s admitted free of charge. Turnstiles accept cash, card, and contactless payments for entry. Dogs are welcome at the stadium provided they are kept on a lead at all times, with owners responsible for cleaning up after them.
