The SO Legal Stadium

Holker Street

Holker Street — also known as The SO Legal Stadium for sponsorship purposes — is a sports stadium in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria and the home ground of Barrow Association Football Club.

Opened in 1909, the stadium has a maximum capacity of 5,045 spectators.

Away supporters are primarily accommodated in the Holker Street End, which provides standing accommodation along with a seated section beside the Main Stand. The away allocation has a capacity of 930, including 632 seats. Improvements to the away area have included the installation of a roof over the Holker Street End and the addition of temporary seated stands adjacent to the Main Stand.

Tickets are usually available in advance through the visiting club. There are no cash turnstiles on matchdays, but the Ticket Office beside Main Reception is open before kick-off on both weekend and midweek fixtures. Supporters are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance where possible. Food and drink facilities are available within the away section, offering hot and cold refreshments, while alcoholic beverages are available before kick-off. Visiting supporters are also welcome to use The Cross Bar on Wilkie Road before matches.

The stadium does not provide official supporter parking because of limited space. Matchday parking is available at the nearby Soccer Club on a first come, first served basis for a small charge, and additional parking can be found at Liberata. Supporters requiring further information can contact the club by telephone or email before their visit.
