Spennymoor Town Football Club is an association football club, based in Spennymoor, Durham. Founded 18 years ago in 2005, the team currently compete in the National League North, the 6th tier of English football.
They play their home matches at Brewery Field, and are nicknamed "The Moors".
The team's playing kit is manufactured by Erreà.
Spennymoor Town FC was formed in 2005 following the demise of both UniBond Premier Division club Spennymoor United AFC and Northern League Second Division club Evenwood Town FC.
The original club was founded in 1904 and achieved success in the Northern League, North Eastern League, FA Cup, FA Trophy, and various other competitions.
In 2005, the club could not fulfil its fixtures and was removed from the UniBond League.
An independent group of supporters formed a trust and allowed the Evenwood proposal to proceed, resulting in the creation of Spennymoor Town FC Ltd.
The club plays in the colours of its predecessor, Black & White stripes, in the ANL Division 2.
