Brewery Field

Brewery Field is a sports stadium in Spennymoor, County Durham and the home ground of Spennymoor Town Football Club.

The stadium has a maximum capacity of 4,000 spectators.

The Brewery Field sits in the centre of Spennymoor and holds more than 4,000 spectators. It has undergone significant development in recent years, including the installation of a modern playing surface and new stands, making it one of the better-appointed grounds at non-league level. The stadium currently features three stands: the Main Stand, which accommodates the majority of home supporters along with media and hospitality guests, the Motif8 Stand on the north side, and the UK Energy Management South Stand, the most recent addition.

The Tees Crescent side of the ground is set aside for standing supporters and contains the gantry and first aid room, with this section often allocated to away fans when segregation is required. Supporter facilities include two newly created fan zones on the Wood Vue and Tees Crescent sides, along with The Neil Adams Sports Bar situated beside the South Stand. Across these areas, refreshments are available at low prices in line with the club’s Affordable Football For All policy.

Access to the ground is straightforward, with Durham train station just over six miles away and Darlington station around fifteen miles distant, both connecting with local bus routes to Spennymoor. The number 6 bus from Durham and number 8 from Darlington stop directly outside the stadium. On matchdays, fans are advised against parking in the nearby residential streets, with the club encouraging the use of public transport while also working with local authorities to provide dedicated parking areas. Entry to the ground is through turnstiles at Wood Vue or Tees Crescent, with the latter used exclusively by away fans when segregation is in place.
