Overview

Wingate & Finchley Football Club is an association football club, based in Finchley, Middlesex. Founded 32 years ago in 1991, the team currently compete in the Isthmian League Premier Division, the 7th tier of English football.

They play their home matches at The Maurice Rebak Stadium, and are nicknamed "The Blues".

History

Wingate and Finchley Football Club is one of the oldest clubs in the country, tracing its roots back to the formation of Finchley Football Club in 1874.

The club was created through a merger between Finchley and Wingate in 1991, and has since gone on to achieve success, winning the Ryman League Cup, London Senior Cup, and the Ryman Premier Division in 2011.

The club has continued to build on its success with youth development, and has had players selected for the Great Britain Maccabi Team.

In 2021, Club legends Ahmet Rifat and Marc Weatherstone were appointed as a new management team.
