The Shay Stadium serves as the home for FC Halifax Town and Halifax RLFC. It is accessible from the North through the A629, and for general access, via the M62 and A629. The stadium is also a short walk from Halifax railway station.
The stadium’s South Stand is a terraced area for home fans, providing an excellent view of the pitch. It includes the South Stand Bar, which can accommodate 200 people and is available for hire on non-match days. The Skircoat Stand, an all-seater on Skircoat Road, is primarily for away supporters. The North Stand, known for its great view, is currently not in use. The East Stand, with a capacity for 4,000 fans, offers an unobstructed view of the playing area and houses banqueting suites, bars, food areas, and hospitality boxes.
