The Shooting Field — also known as Peter Humphreys Memorial Ground for sponsorship purposes — is a sports stadium in Steyning, West Sussex and the home ground of Steyning Town Community Football Club.
The ground can be reached by public transport despite there being no railway station in Steyning. The nearest station is Shoreham-by-Sea, from where the No. 2 bus provides a connection into Steyning, with services operating approximately hourly. Visitors travelling from Brighton can also use the No. 2 service, or connect via Shoreham using the 700 bus. Additional bus links are available from other parts of the county, including the Compass 100 service to Steyning High Street.
For those arriving on foot, the ground is a short walk from the High Street. Access is available via the twitten leading to Tanyard Lane car park, with onward directions to the venue. The route provides straightforward access from the town centre.
On matchdays, parking is available at Steyning Grammar School, which provides access to its car park for visitors. An alternative option is the public car park on Tanyard Lane opposite the medical centre, from where a short walk through the alley off Breach Close leads to the ground. Visitors may also wish to spend time in Steyning, a historic market town with a village-like character.
