The Bluemen

Shefford Town and Campton Football Club, nicknamed “The Bluemen,” is a non-league football club based in Shefford, Bedfordshire.

They currently compete in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division, which is part of the ninth tier of English football. The team calls Shefford Sports Club their home ground.

Following a restart in 2010, the club has established a comprehensive football pathway. This structure includes strong links with Shefford Saints Youth FC, operating under the Shefford Community Club program. This program also encompasses Shefford Sports Club and the Shefford Sports Community Association.

The first team achieved promotion in 2022, earning a place in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division, which represents Step 5 of the Non League Pyramid. The senior side will compete in the FA Cup, the FA Vase, and various local cup competitions.

Support for developing players is evident across multiple levels. The reserve team competes in the Bedfordshire County Football League Premier Division, while the development team plays in Division 2 of the same league. Furthermore, the under-18s squad participates in the Southern Counties Floodlit Youth League.
