Aldershot Town Football Club, nicknamed “The Shots,” is a non-league football club based in Aldershot, Hampshire.

Established in 1992, they currently compete in the Enterprise National League, which is part of the fifth tier of English football. The team calls The EBB Stadium their home ground.

Following the folding of the senior side in 1992, a phoenix club was formed, beginning its first season in the Isthmian League Division 3. The initial campaign saw the club win its first ten games, culminating in a championship title by an 18-point margin. A second successive promotion followed in the 1993-94 season, via a third-place finish, alongside a run to the FA Vase quarter-finals.

The club experienced a period of sustained success, winning the Isthmian League Cup and the Hampshire Senior Cup in 1998-99, and retaining the latter trophy in 1999-2000. A significant crowd record was set in November 2001 when 7,500 people attended an FA Cup first-round tie against Brighton & Hove Albion — a match the Shots lost 6-2.

The 2007-08 season marked a return to the Football League, with the club winning the Conference Premier title with 101 points under Gary Waddock. The subsequent seasons saw the club achieve a fifteenth-place finish in their first League 2 campaign in 2008-09, and an unexpected sixth-place finish the following year. After relegation from League 2 in 2012-13, the club entered administration. Back in the Conference Premier with a ten-point deduction and a hastily-assembled squad, the 2013-14 season saw the club do well to avoid back-to-back relegations, finishing 19th. The club subsequently exited its CVA arrangement in July 2014 and continued to rebuild.
