History
Telford United had a fierce reputation as FA Cup giantkillers between 1982 and 1992, winning 11 ties and taking 4 to replays against Football League sides.
In 1985, they reached the 5th Round, where they lost 3-0 to eventual Champions Everton.
The 2003/04 season saw Telford beat Brentford 3-0 and then Crewe Alexandra 1-0 in the Third Round, statistically the club's biggest FA Cup upset.
Since the reformation of AFC Telford United, they have not been able to recapture their former glories, although it took a last gasp equaliser from Southend United in 2008 to prevent another famous win.
