A. F. C. Fylde, nicknamed “The Coasters,” is a non-league football club based in Preston, Lancashire.
Established in 1988, they currently compete in the Enterprise National League, which is part of the fifth tier of English football. The team calls Mill Farm Sports Village their home ground.
The club emerged from the amalgamation of Kirkham Town and Wesham, initially playing as Kirkham & Wesham. After early promotions and relegations in the West Lancashire League, it won seven Premier Division titles in eight seasons from 1999–2000 to 2006–07 and remained unbeaten in all competitions for 21 months during that period.
After joining the North West Counties League in 2007, the side won promotion and the FA Vase at Wembley in 2008. It adopted the A.F.C. Fylde name for 2008–09, won Northern Premier League Division One North in 2011–12, and reached Conference North through the 2013–14 play-offs.
The club moved to Mill Farm during 2016–17 and won National League North, earning promotion to the National League. It finished fifth and won the FA Trophy in 2018–19, becoming the first club to win both that competition and the FA Vase. The curtailed 2019–20 season left the side second-bottom on points per game. Another National League North title restored promotion in 2022–23, before relegation in 2024–25.
