Whitby Town Football Club is an association football club, based in Whitby. Founded 143 years ago in 1880, the team currently compete in the Northern Premier League, the 7th tier of English football.

They play their home matches at Turnbull Ground, and are nicknamed "The Seasiders".

The team's playing kit is manufactured by Erreà.

History

Whitby Town Football Club is one of the oldest clubs from the North Riding of Yorkshire.

Founded in 1880, the club has spent its entire history in the amateur and semi-professional leagues.

In 1996-97, Whitby won the FA Vase at Wembley Stadium, beating North Ferriby United 3-0.

The club's colours are blue with a touch of white, black and red and they play their home games at the 3,500 capacity Turnbull Ground on Upgang Lane.

They have won the Northern Premier League First Division, the Northern League Cup six times and the North Riding Senior Cup five times.

The most recent manager is Chris Hardy who was appointed in 2015.
