Maidstone United Football Club is an association football club, based in Maidstone, Kent. Founded 31 years ago in 1992, the team currently compete in the National League, the 5th tier of English football.
They play their home matches at Gallagher Stadium, and are nicknamed "The Stones".

History
Maidstone United was founded in 1897 and reformed in 1992.
They won the Kent County League Division Four title in their first season and were promoted to the Premier Division, winning the Kent Senior Trophy in their first season.
They were then crowned Kent League champions in 2002 and 2006, winning the Kent League Cup both times.
They earned two successive promotions and reached the second round proper of the FA Cup in the 2015/16 season, eventually winning promotion to the National League.
