Dorking Wanderers Football Club, nicknamed “The Wanderers,” is a non-league football club based in Dorking, Surrey.
Established in 1970, they currently compete in the Vanarama National League, which is part of the fifth tier of English football. The team calls Meadowbank their home ground.

History
Founded in 1999, Dorking Wanderers Football Club rapidly rose from local league football to the National League. The club, initiated by Marc White and others, began in the Crawley & District League, playing at Big Field Brockham. In 2007, they moved to Westhumble, converting a derelict site into a senior football ground.
Dorking’s ascent continued with a Sussex County League runner-up finish in 2015 and promotion to the Ryman Division One South. Their first season at this level concluded with a playoff promotion to the Bostik Premier League (Step 3). In 2017-18, they made their debut in this league, coinciding with their move to Meadowbank Stadium.
The 2018-19 season, the club’s 20th year, saw them clinch the Bostik League Premier Division title and ascend to the National League South. The COVID-19 pandemic affected the subsequent two seasons, including a nullified 2020-21 campaign where they were league leaders.
In 2021-22, Dorking finished runners-up in the National League South, achieving promotion to the National League Premier. They completed their first season in this division in 16th place, marking a significant milestone in their rapid rise through the non-league tiers.
