Overview
Enfield Town Football Club is an association football club, based in Enfield, Middlesex. Founded 22 years ago in 2001, the team currently compete in the Isthmian League Premier Division, the 7th tier of English football.
They play their home matches at Queen Elizabeth II Stadium, and are nicknamed "The Towners".
The team's playing kit is manufactured by Macron.
History
Enfield Town FC was formed in 2001 and played in the Essex Senior League, where they won two championships, two league cups, a Middlesex Charity Cup, and other finals.
In 2005 they were promoted to the Southern League, and in 2006 they moved to the Ryman League.
In 2008, they moved to the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium, and in 2011 they were promoted to Step 3 of the Isthmian League.
Since then, they have achieved several successes, including winning the Velocity Trophy (Isthmian League Cup) in 2019 and hosting the CONIFA Football World Cup in 2018.
They are now a supporter-owned club and have a range of teams at various age groups and abilities, including a learning difficulties squad.
